Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Letters Never Sent (the “Game,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the iOS application.

1. Information stored on your device

The Game stores story progress, completed letters, unlocked endings, audio preferences, and text-speed preferences locally on your device. No account is required. We do not directly collect your name, postal address, email address, letter content, contacts, photos, or precise location through gameplay.

2. Network and advertising data

The Game requests advertising placement configuration from our server. Like most network requests, this may expose technical information such as your IP address, app bundle identifier, request time, and basic network information.

Depending on the configuration available when the Game starts, one or more third-party advertising providers may be activated: Chartboost, Yandex Ads, Liftoff/Vungle, and InMobi. Their SDKs may process information such as:

3. App Tracking Transparency

On supported versions of iOS, the Game asks for permission before accessing the advertising identifier for tracking. You may deny this request. You can later change your choice in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking. Denying permission does not prevent you from playing the Game, although ads may be less relevant.

4. How information is used

Information is used to operate the Game, retrieve advertising configuration, deliver and measure ads, limit fraud and abuse, diagnose technical problems, and comply with legal obligations.

5. Sharing and third-party services

We do not sell information that we collect directly. Advertising providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Please review their notices for details about their practices and privacy choices:

6. Retention

Local game progress remains on your device until you reset progress, remove the app, or clear the app’s data. Third-party providers retain information according to their own policies and legal requirements.

7. Your choices and rights

You can limit tracking through iOS settings, reset local progress from the Game’s Settings screen, or delete the Game to remove locally stored data. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information. Contact us to make a request. Requests concerning an advertising provider’s data may need to be directed to that provider.

8. Children’s privacy

The Game is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the matter.

9. Security and international processing

We use reasonable measures intended to protect information. No transmission or storage method is completely secure. Advertising providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their policies and applicable law.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Game, service providers, or legal requirements. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are made.
